Captima assembles £6.2M Bridge and £37M Development Facility for Later Living Project

Captima tasked by a site owner to deliver a short-term bridge loan solution in order to refinance existing debt, restructure site ownership and to fund initial listed building works ahead of a wider retirement living scheme. The £6.2m facility finances the first phase, with a further £37m facility structured by Captima to fund the second phase, comprising 100 Retirement Living units, 47 Assisted Living units and a central village hub. The complex nature of the site ownership and minimal security on offer meant this was a challenging project, which Captima delivered through a specialist lender.
