Captima has announced a further significant appointment as part of its continued expansion. Jeremy Toone joins as Director of both Captima Capital and Cap Real Estate and is based in London.
Jeremy joins from Grant Thornton UK LLP where he was head of real estate and construction.
Jeremy has worked in the Real Estate sector for over 20 years. Jeremy started his professional career in 1990 when he joined KPMG and qualified as a chartered accountant. He then specialised in the operational and financial restructuring of companies around the world. Post KPMG, Jeremy spent nearly ten years running his own property business developing residential, retail and mixed use schemes.
In 2008 Jeremy joined Grant Thornton UK LLP where he became a partner and the head of Real Estate & Construction and advised clients on structuring real estate transactions, corporate finance, equity and debt raising, corporate disposals, restructuring and sale and leasebacks across various property sectors with a particular specialism in the Build to Rent (BTR) sector. Jeremy is currently advising on the funding of over £500 million of BTR developments throughout the UK.
